Seizing Opportunities Amidst Challenges
In 2023, the construction market faced numerous difficulties, leading many construction companies to face the risk of losses and dissolution. Many projects were halted or delayed, and the number of new projects decreased significantly. In this context, Ecoba has focused on strengthening its internal capabilities.
Ecoba Vietnam is a construction and project management contractor with many years of experience in the industry. It has consistently ranked among the Top 10 Most Reputable Construction Companies in Vietnam for four consecutive years (according to Vietnam Report). The company has successfully implemented numerous projects for major investors such as Lotte Mall Hanoi, Hinode City, Hoang Huy Commerce, and An Lac Green Symphony.

Overcoming Technical Challenges
Upon taking on the project, Ecoba Vietnam conducted a survey and identified several specific technical challenges that needed to be addressed. Initially, the company encountered difficulties during the construction of Larsen sheet piles and ground anchors due to the proximity of water and electricity pipes to the construction area.
To overcome this situation, the Ecoba Vietnam team convened and proposed a suitable solution. "We have developed a construction plan, proactively implementing sheet pile driving and ground anchoring based on technical and geological analyses. Additionally, Ecoba flexibly adjusted the construction method to accelerate the progress of the core area," shared Nguyen Duy Quy, Head of Quality and Engineering at Ecoba.

Innovative Solutions for Complex Structures
The Wisteria project has many unique challenges, requiring careful consideration of construction methods by the main contractor, Ecoba. The project features a five-story podium with a significant height of 5.3 to 6 meters and a transfer slab. To construct these floors with different structures, Ecoba Vietnam has applied the method of casting columns and walls in a single pour. This method saves time and costs but requires high technical expertise in reinforcing steel, formwork, and large-scale concrete pouring.
Thanks to the optimized solutions carefully studied, Ecoba Vietnam has met the investor's accelerated construction schedule. The company has completed the basement closure, exceeding the schedule by 22 days, and is currently in the process of constructing the building's main body.
Vo Tien Dat, General Director of Ecoba Vietnam, affirmed: "Ecoba Vietnam has optimized operations, financial management, and digital transformation to enhance construction quality. With our efforts, we are confident in completing the project according to the investor's standards and requirements."
