On August 16, 2020, Ecoba Renewable Energy Solution Joint Stock Company (EGE) conducted a groundbreaking ceremony to build roof-top solar power plant - Vien Na plant. EGE will deploy the Solar Rooftop project of the plant in Binh Khanh Quarter, Khanh Binh Ward, Tan Uyen Town, Binh Duong. When this project comes into operation, it will ensure part of the electricity supplied to the plant's operation and generate profits from selling electricity to EVN.

In Binh Duong, Vien Na Plant is known to be a manufacturer specializing in producing iron art furniture and exterior products, combined with stickers... and a member of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

With the characteristics of topography, climate, weather, our country has a great potential for solar radiation, the estimated technical potential of developing solar power (PV) in Vietnam can be up to 340,000 MWp.

With the State's policy to encourage the development of renewable energy sources, many solar power projects have been invested in construction, of which rooftop solar power is a type with many advantages, can be strongly developed in the future with many advantages such as: not waste land area; Help strengthen effective heat resistance for buildings; Small scale, scattered installation should be connected to the existing low and medium voltage grid, no need to invest in additional transmission grid system. The rooftop solar PV is especially suitable for the workshops because of its large roof area and high electricity demand.
