(BDT) - Only in the late 2019 and early 2020 period, Vingroup has signed 3 consecutive contracts of wastewater treatment for 3 large urban areas with Ecoba Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (Ecoba ENT), with total capacity of 62,300 m3/day and night.

Vingroup pioneered the application of new wastewater treatment technology in Vietnam

Vingroup - the name of the group associated with real estate projects of stature, scale and class. In parallel with the comprehensive planning, construction and development of utility infrastructure and services in urban projects, Vingroup also focuses on environmental issues, including wastewater treatment plants.

The three recent major urban areas, Vinhomes Ocean Park, Vinhomes Smart City and Vinhomes Grand Park, are specially focused on investment in research and application of new, modern, environmentally friendly wastewater treatment technologies and urban landscape.

By the end of 2019, the Vinhomes Ocean Park urban area wastewater treatment plant project, with a capacity of 38,000 m3/day and night in Gia Lam district, Hanoi, is the first project to apply Green technology in Vietnam. The difference from traditional technology is that Green technology integrates flora into the wastewater treatment process. In addition to increasing the efficiency of the treatment process, minimizing sludge and energy consumption, the project is also arranged as a truly pleasant, natural, humane, new friendly look for urban wastewater treatment works.

The project is constructed by contractor Ecoba ENT and is expected to be completed in the second quarter of this year.

Next, the wastewater treatment plant in Vinhomes Smart City urban area, with a capacity of 10,800 m3/day and night in Tay Mo - Dai Mo, Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi is also in the construction process.

Recently, Vingroup continues to sign a contract for a wastewater treatment plant for Vinhomes Grand Park urban area, District 9, Ho Chi Minh City, with a capacity of 13,500 m3/day and night.

It is worth mentioning that these three projects are all undertaken by the contractor Ecoba ENT and applying new wastewater treatment technologies in Vietnam. The advantages of Green technology will help optimize the construction land area, reduce operating costs while the overall plant is in harmony with the urban landscape. This is very valuable for the Employer in the original urban planning and design.
