BACK TO THE NEWS PAGERecently, Ecoba Vietnam, in collaboration with Ecoba Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (Ecoba ENT), Ecoba M&E Co., Ltd., and Ecoteck JSC, joined hands with the Cau Giay District Labor Federation to repair and upgrade two educational facilities in the district – Birla Children’s Village and Nguyen Kha Trac Primary School.
Alongside its mission to support and care for employees, the Ecoba Vietnam Trade Union actively engages in social responsibility activities every year, contributing to community development through initiatives such as the “Voluntary Blood Donation Program”, “Flood-Resistant Housing” fund, and the “Nuôi Em” (Nurturing Children in the Highlands) project. This year, with the desire to contribute to the local community where the company operates, after conducting site surveys, Ecoba Vietnam’s Trade Union decided to sponsor the repair of restroom facilities at Birla Children’s Village and Nguyen Kha Trac Primary School. These restrooms and wash areas had deteriorated after years of use, directly affecting students’ daily hygiene and health.
Restroom facilities degraded after years of use
With the coordination of the Cau Giay District Labor Federation, Ecoba Vietnam worked with partner companies to repair and upgrade restrooms at Birla Orphanage (Cau Giay) and handwashing stations at Nguyen Kha Trac Primary School, creating cleaner, safer, and more child-friendly facilities to help students maintain good health and study with peace of mind.
Ecoba Vietnam engineers worked diligently to complete the project before the Lunar New Year holiday
To minimize disruptions to students’ daily routines, Ecoba Vietnam’s engineering team conducted safety assessments and carefully planned the construction timeline to ensure handover before the Lunar New Year. Thanks to their efforts, the project was completed smoothly, meeting quality and progress standards.
Completed facilities officially handed over to both schools
On January 15, 2024, the Cau Giay District Labor Federation, together with Ecoba Vietnam, Ecoba ENT, Ecoba M&E, and Ecoteck, officially handed over the renovated restroom facilities at Birla Orphanage and the upgraded handwashing stations at Nguyen Kha Trac Primary School, with a total investment value of 239 million VND. This project, titled “For a Friendly Environment,” also contributes to the 6th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (Cau Giay District) for the 2024 – 2029 term and celebrates the 95th Anniversary of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2024).

The initiative to repair and upgrade these facilities represents one of Ecoba Vietnam’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. In the future, Ecoba Vietnam will continue to support and participate in more charitable and community projects, further realizing its commitment to sustainable development for the environment and for the community.
