On the morning of November 17, 2021, the Quality Improvement Committee established by Ecoba Vietnam Joint Stock Company and Haseko (Japan) conducted testing of building materials according to 5H standards in order to improve the 5-star quality of the high-rise building projects.

During the testing session, engineers of Ecoba Vietnam and Haseko exchanged and shared experiences on issues related to the use and evaluation of building materials based on Japanese and Vietnamese standards.

Accordingly, the Quality Improvement Committee has tested 4 types of membrane waterproofing materials according to BS and JIS advanced standards (JIS A 6021; JIS A 1404 and BS EN 14891: 2017). Specifically, the tested material samples focused on tensile strength, crack bridging ability, tensile adhesion strength at standard conditions and water permeability.

The testing is part of the November-December working program of the Quality Improvement Committee, focusing on waterproofing at construction sites.
