ECOBA AND HASEKO CONTINUOUSLY ORGANIZING QUALITY IMPROVEMENT MEETINGS

Every week, members of the Ecoba and Haseko Quality Improvement Committees continue to conduct online meetings in the context of the epidemic to come up with solutions to improve project quality and share experiences between the two parties.

In each weekly meeting, the members of the Committee will choose the topics that need to be discussed and resolved in stages to focus on discussing and thoroughly solving outstanding issues.

 

Construction enterprises invest in quality

The construction industry in Vietnam is one of the most favorable and exciting markets in Southeast Asia as the level of public, private and foreign investment increases, creating opportunities for many enterprises. In the context of the economy being strongly affected by the Covid epidemic, the construction industry has maintained a continuous growth rate since the first quarter and contributed to the country's GDP in 2020 at the highest level of 6.19% of GDP, only low more than 2011.

 

In addition to the development in quantity, recently, some leading enterprises in the market have oriented to focus more investment on the development of quality. Based on the needs of technical cooperation as well as solving inadequacies and improving the quality of works in Vietnam. Recently, Ecoba and Haseko have launched the Product Quality Improvement Committee under the Technical - Quality Department, which operates independently of the project. “The committee was established to improve construction quality at Ecoba projects. Haseko and Ecoba will choose the contents to discuss and improve each stage in a very detailed way, not making a formality”, Mr. Masakatsu Taguchi - Haseko's representative expressed his seriousness about future cooperation projects with Ecoba.

 

The common goal of Ecoba and Haseko when establishing the Quality Improvement Committee is to improve and create consistent quality for all future projects. In addition, the two parties agreed on the operating charter, organizational structure of the Committee, and discussed and exchanged on effective operation methods. Mr. Mai Van Do – Ecoba’s representative expects: "In the future, we are ready to bring to the market projects with 5-star quality, reaching the highest standard in construction".

 

As a leading construction and real estate development corporation in Japan, Haseko holds 10% of the apartment market share in Japan and 31% of the apartment market share in two major urban areas, Osaka and Tokyo in 2020. This is an advantage that helps the enterprise that has accumulated many years of experience in the field of construction and are ready to help Ecoba in the process of implementation, quality control management, review of improvement measures and sync implementation for all projects.

 

5-star quality standard with 5H criteria

With the philosophy of providing customers with 5-star standard works, the two parties will focus on 5H criteria: High Safety, High Durability, High Comfort, High Quality, Healthful. Mr. Masakatsu Taguchi - Haseko's representative shared: "When collaborating professionally with Ecoba, Haseko believes that it will bring these philosophies into our products in Vietnam and those built by Ecoba Vietnam".

 

 

From practical activities, Ecoba's staff will strengthen their skills, knowledge and experience in strictly controlling key activities, choosing suitable materials to minimize risks of quality according to international standards. It is known that before the launch of the Committee, Haseko and Ecoba jointly upgraded the quality of design, construction and management of the project in a number of ongoing projects, typically The Terra An Hung project. After a period of implementation, the cooperation has brought initial positive results and is highly appreciated by the Employer. Improving construction organization capacity and ensuring project progress are one of the important factors for Ecoba's sustainable development, providing customers with sustainable, safe and convenient works. Under the coordination of the Quality Improvement Committee, professional meetings between Haseko and Ecoba will be held periodically on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. Not only sharing experience and training, Haseko engineers also directly monitor, evaluate and periodically check project quality and provide analysis and appropriate improvement measures.
